Introduction
What Biz Invoice Pay is, and how the dashboard, hosted pay page, API, webhooks, and WooCommerce plugin fit together.
Introduction
Biz Invoice Pay is a payments and invoicing platform for small US businesses — barbers, salons, tattoo studios, repair shops, and small retail. One product handles the whole money flow: send a professional invoice, take a card at the counter, watch payments land, and track payouts to your bank.
The pieces
Dashboard — your home base. Create and send invoices, charge cards, look up payments and refunds, check payout status, and manage your team. Everything you can do by hand here can also be done through the API.
Hosted pay page — a secure payment page Biz Invoice Pay hosts for you. Every payment session (from an invoice, a payment link, or the API) gives your customer a link they can open on any device. You never touch card numbers.
API — a small REST API (/api/v1) for creating payment sessions, looking up payments, and issuing refunds from your own website or systems. Authenticated with an Biz Invoice Pay API key — you never need a Stripe secret key.
Webhooks — real-time event notifications (for example payment.succeeded) delivered to your own server as JSON, signed with HMAC so you can verify they came from Biz Invoice Pay.
WooCommerce plugin — connects your WooCommerce store to Biz Invoice Pay so online orders pay through your account. See WooCommerce for install and setup.
Who holds the money
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you connect your bank, Stripe collects your identity and bank details — Biz Invoice Pay never sees or stores full bank account numbers, and never stores card numbers. Biz Invoice Pay is a platform business, not a bank.
Pricing
4.9% + 30¢ per successful card payment. No monthly fee, no setup fee. The fee is shown on every payment in your dashboard so you always see exactly what you received. See Payments, fees and refunds for the exact math.
